Liquid Transparent Mastic is a versatile stone-repair and bonding material designed for marble and natural stone. It is suitable for filling joints, pores, holes, and carrying out minor repairs and reconstruction.
Description
This is a slight yellow transparent glue in liquid form. Hardener paste is included. It is suitable for gluing and filling any marble or material stone. It can also be mixed with colouring paste to get the desired colour. It is very easy to apply, extremely versatile and after catalysis, extraordinary clear. It does not turn yellow with time.
Method of use
- Grind the surface with 60 grit of abrasive or 50 grit of polishing pad.
- Thoroughly clean and dry the surface.
- Take from tin necessary amount of glue, using clean tools and add 1-3% of hardener.
- Stir & mix them nicely and apply on the surface to be treated. Take the quantity of resin which can be applied in 3-4 minutes at a time.
- It start to gel in 4-5 minutes and dries completely in 30 minutes.
- Start grinding the floor after half an hour starting from grit 120 of abrasive or 100 of polishing pad.
- Do not return unused catalyzed glue back to the tin.
- After use, close the tin in order to avoid hardening of glue on contact with air.

How to Use Liquid Transparent Mastic

Prepare the Surface
Clean the marble or stone surface thoroughly and remove dust, dirt, grease, moisture, and loose material. Make sure the application area is clean and properly prepared. -
Mix the Resin and Hardener
Take the required resin quantity and add approximately 1–3% hardener, following the manufacturer's instructions. Mix thoroughly until the components are evenly combined before application. -
Apply the Mastic
Apply the mixed material directly into the joint, hole, pore, or repair area. Work carefully to achieve even coverage and avoid unnecessary excess around the surface. -
Allow to Cure
Leave the applied mastic undisturbed while it cures. It begins to gel in approximately 4–5 minutes and can dry completely in around 30 minutes under suitable conditions. -
Grind and Finish
After complete curing, grind the repaired area carefully to level the surface. Continue with the appropriate finishing or polishing process to achieve the desired stone appearance.
