Description
Granilux Transparent is a professional polishing chemical for marble, granite, and natural stone surfaces. Its primary function is colour unification; it evens out patchy or inconsistent tones across the stone surface, delivering a visually consistent finish alongside a high-gloss brilliance that enhances the stone's natural character.
Beyond polish, it provides oil and water repellent protection, creating resistance against everyday staining from liquids, oils, and surface contaminants. The formula is designed to remain breathable after treatment; it does not seal the surface, so moisture is not trapped within the stone.
Suitable for use on marble, granite, natural stone, and artificial stone on floors, wall cladding, kitchen worktops, and bathroom surfaces in both residential and commercial settings.
Method of use
- Ensure the surface is perfectly clean and completely dry before starting. Any dust, grease, or residue will affect how evenly the product absorbs.
- Apply Granilux Transparent evenly across the surface using a cotton cloth, brush, or roller. Work in manageable sections to maintain even coverage.
- Leave for 30 minutes in a well-ventilated area. Do not allow the product to dry fully before the next step wiping too late makes removal significantly harder.
- Wipe off the excess with a clean, dry cloth before the product dries completely.
- Polish the surface using a woollen pad or cloth pad to build the gloss.
- Buff to a final uniform finish using a P5 sponge buffing pad.
- Repeat the process if a deeper colour unification or higher gloss level is required.

Aftercare Maintaining the Polish
The longevity of Granilux Transparent's finish depends directly on how the surface is cleaned after treatment. Using acidic, alkaline, or generic floor cleaners on a treated surface will gradually break down the oil and water repellent layer and dull the gloss, requiring earlier re-application.
Use a stone-safe, pH-neutral cleaning solution for all routine maintenance on treated surfaces. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh detergents, or steam cleaning on polished stone, these strip the finish over time regardless of the product used.
For surfaces with heavy foot traffic or outdoor exposure, periodic re-application of Granilux Transparent will restore colour uniformity and gloss as the finish naturally wears.
