Description

R171 is a ready-to use, solvent-free special cleaner in gel form. It removes wax and maintenance products, films, sealings, impregnations, paints, hardened oils and greases and much more. R171 is suitable for use on all rough and matt natural stones, ceramic plates, glazed and unglazed tiles, porcelain stoneware, artificial stone, terrazzo, terracotta, brick, clinker, clay products, concrete, cement screeds, etc. on indoor and outdoor walls and floors.

Method of Application

  1. R171 should be applied undiluted to the natural cold and dry surface.
  2. Apply evenly and generously with a soft brush or short-pile roller.
  3. Leave to soak (not dry out) for approx. 20 to 60 minutes and add more cleaner if necessary.
  4. Rub down thoroughly with a scrubber, brush or suitable nylon pad.
  5. Wet the surface with HMK R155 Intensive Cleaner – acid free (diluted 1:10 with water) and wipe off the accumulated dirt.
  6. Finally rinse the cleaned surface thoroughly with fresh water.
