Description

R175 is a special concentrated acid based cleaner that removes cement film, lime scale, mortar residue, rust stains and heavy duty construction dirt from all acid tolerant natural and artificial stone surfaces. The special rust-preventing additives in R175 make it especially suitable for cleaning rust susceptible hard stones, including those with polished finishes. For interior and exterior use.

Method of Application

  1. Protect all adjacent non-masonry surfaces. Do a manageable area at a time.
  2. Thoroughly wet area to be cleaned. Apply R175 diluted 1:3 to 1:10 depending on dirt and acid resistance of the stone/grout joint.
  3. Scrub lightly with brush to remove dirt.
  4. First rinse should be a flood rinse. Second rinse should be a neutralizing rinse using a solution of ‘R155 Intensive Cleaner-acid free’ and water. This is followed by rinsing with water.

  1. Suitable for all acid tolerant stones like granite, sandstone etc.
  2. It may reduce the polish or dull the surface. In this case we can polish the affected area or the entire surface by using ‘S748 Stain Protection-Premium Colour’.
  3. We can maintain the long lasting effect by cleaning the surface with diluted ‘P324 Liquid Stone Soap’ regularly once or twice a week.
  4. Not recommended for use on marble and lime stone.
