An epoxy system for expensive marble with crack difficult to fill. 4kg of resin and 1kg of hardener.
Description
Epoxies are applied on marble and granite to fill the cracks, to increase hardness and gloss of the surface. This epoxy system is very good for filling cracks, pin holes and micro cracks found in natural stones. This resin system provides perfect impregnation of the surfaces, producing great adhesion to the stone. It provides high hardness and extra low yellowing effect under daily sun exposure.
Method of Application
- Grind the surface to grit 100 and leave them to dry for 16-20 hours so that absolutely no traces of water are found on the surface especially on cracks.
- Mix resin and hardener in the ratio 4:1 by a weight and apply the mixture uniformly on the full surface of marble.
- Accumulate additional quantity of this mixture over the cracks and holes.
- Leave the surface to dry for 2-2.5 hours.
- Start polishing starting from grit 100 after 24 hours.
